GENERAL CLEANING

1. Dust regularly using a vacuum with a soft dusting brush attachment. Avoid scraping the surface with hard plastic edges, which can scar or polish the finish.
2. For light dirt and fingerprints, gently blot (don't scrub) with a soft, damp, neutral-colored microfiber cloth using warm water. A spray bottle is helpful for larger areas. Allow water to lift the dirt naturally—never scrub aggressively in circular or back-and-forth motions, as this can burnish the matte surface and create shiny spots.
3. For stubborn stains, use warm water with a small amount of mild soap (all-natural dish soap or diluted unscented castile soap), gently blotting in a padding motion. Alternatively, clear vodka on a microfiber cloth can effectively remove difficult marks. Always test in an inconspicuous area first.
4. For fabric fibers or fuzz, thoroughly dry dust first with a dedicated dusting brush to remove loose particles, then gently wipe with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. For stubborn fibers, use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment.
5. Dry promptly after cleaning to prevent water marks.

DEEP CLEANING SOLUTION

If soap and water are ineffective, mix 1 cup ammonia, ½ cup vinegar, and ¼ cup baking soda into 1 gallon of warm water. Spray on the soiled area, let soak, then blot dry with a soft cloth.

STAIN REMOVAL

For persistent stains, create a paste with ½ cup baking soda and 1 ounce of water. Dampen the stained area, apply paste in a padding motion (don't wipe), and let it work until edges begin to dry. Gently blot away with a clean, damp cloth. If the stain remains or appearance is unsatisfactory, repainting may be necessary.

IMPORTANT DONT'S

• Never use Magic Erasers, harsh chemicals, abrasive sponges, scrubbing pads, or terry cloth—these can burnish, scratch, or stain the finish
• Don't scrub excessively—this damages the matte velvet finish and creates shiny spots
• Avoid excessive water—this may cause water marks

Note on Matte Finish: The unique velvet surface diffuses and radiates ambient light beautifully. If cleaning removes or smooths the crystalline matrix, shiny or bright spots may appear. When this occurs, repainting is the best repair option.
